1952年，毕业于南京大学建筑系；
1952年，任教于湖南大学；
1953年，任教于武汉大学；
1954年，任教于南京工学院（现东南大学）建筑系至今；
1984～1985年，作为访问学者赴美工作；
历年来招收研究生80余名；2001年招收4名硕士，1名博士。
